The Latin Mass Community was pleased to have Father Scott Jabo, Vocation Director for the Diocese of Erie, preach at both of the Latin Masses on Sunday March 27, 2022. The Masses were celebrated by Father Ian McElrath, Associate Chaplain.

Timothy Nowakowski, a member of the Serra Club of Erie, attended the Latin Mass held at St. Hedwig Church in Erie that day. Tim was especially inspired by the following statements that Fr. Jabo shared during his sermon:
What can I offer of myself to fulfill the special vocation God has entrusted to me?
I encourage you to be that voice of God to others, that voice of invitation.
Be open to your own vocation, but also encourage others to be open to what their vocation is. Use words of invitation to nurture and even challenge them to consider a religious vocation in their life.
